Dr. Steve Sharon is a graduate of Cornell University and the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Following Internship at Lenox Hill Hospital, he completed his radiology residency, including his final year as chief resident, at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York.
Dr. Steve Sharon has lectured at national radiology meetings and has been published in orthopedic radiology journals. He has also been involved in the teaching of musculoskeletal radiology to orthopedic residents/fellows. He frequently gives lectures and presentations at journal clubs and orthopedic meetings in the NY Metro region and has recently co-authored a chapter in Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Orthopedic Sports Medicine on magnetic resonance imaging of articular cartilage. He also has been an invited speaker in national orthopedic meetings, including the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA).
A Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners, Dr. Sharon is a member of the American College of Radiology and Society of Skeletal Radiology, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology.
Dr. Steve Sharon is married with three children and enjoys playing sports, music, traveling and spending time with his family.
